Houston, Texas (October 23rd, 2020) – Houston get ready to experience the evolution of the wake boat. Centurion’s Austin, TX area dealer Ski Dock is officially christening Centurion in the Houston market with an open house tomorrow, Saturday October 24th, 2020. There will be nine different Centurions on site for visitors to test ride. Ski Dock has been a Centurion dealer for the past three years and has been an integral part of the brand’s success in Texas, helping to facilitate astounding growth in a short period of time.

In 2019 Centurion proved it all summer long during the Texas Freeride Tour where individuals were encouraged to come out and ride the world’s best wave for themselves. In addition, last year Centurion Boats hosted a Competitive Wake Surfing Water Proof Tour stop in Waco, Texas. The Waco stop of the Water Proof Tour was one of 2019’s most incredible competitions and the event’s success led to Centurion and the CWSA choosing Texas as the location for the 2020 World Wake Surfing Championships, presented by GM Marine. This year’s 2020 World Wake Surfing Championships brought many of the top wake surfers in the country to Marine Creek Lake in Ft Worth, Texas while international riders had the opportunity to join in the competition in a never before seen hybrid (virtual and live) format. This epic showdown wasn’t without its limitations, but as one of the few live surf events of the Pandemic shortened season the 2020 World Wake Surfing Championship saw great success on the ground and online.
