(Wayzata, MN) October 14, 2022 – Centurion Boats is proud to support events and people who make lives better through sharing their passion for water sports. Recently, Centurion had the opportunity to support The Wiggle Your Toes organization, which helps amputees in Minnesota and beyond adapt to their new life and learn to not just get by, but to live life to the fullest. Aaron Holm, Executive Director of Wiggle Your Toes, lost both his legs to a horrific accident in 2007 but didn’t let that restrict his life. After only 19 days in the hospital, Aaron applied his contagious optimism and courage to educating himself on how to keep on living his life to the utmost. He now shares what he’s learned with other amputees, both veterans and others, through the Wiggle Your Toes organization. Often the events offered by Wiggle Your Toes are the first opportunity for amputees to discover they can reclaim an active lifestyle.

Through a series of connections, the Wiggle Your Toes Adaptive Wake Surfing Clinic was referred to Centurion’s Jeremy Wahlberg, founder of the Heroes Tour, and it was clear this was a great opportunity to wake waves of change, which is a tenet of Centurion’s company philosophy. As a result, Centurion was proud to provide boats and drivers for the Wiggle Your Toes 5th Annual Adaptive Wake Surfing Clinic in early October. Participants of all ages and backgrounds were given the opportunity to get out on the water behind Centurion boats and their satisfaction at accomplishing something new was evident from the glowing smiles on their faces. Over 20 adaptive athletes participated, many saying it was “the best weekend of their summer.” They left feeling more confident about what they can accomplish with the right prosthetics and team behind them. This is exactly how we make lives better – by sharing a passion for water sports that is inclusive.
Mark Mann, Director of Adaptive Sports for Wiggle Your Toes, expressed his gratitude for Centurion’s support by noting: “Wiggle Your Toes was fortunate enough to get to experience your boats firsthand during our 2022 Adaptive Wake Surfing Clinic. Over 20 adaptive athletes learned how to wake surf with many of them leaving empowered and excited about what they will be able to accomplish in the future. Your boats are the best in the industry, keep up the good work!”
