Gentlemen, start your propellers. Centurion has partnered with NASCAR to build an officially licensed, limited edition series of high-performance towboats. For over 35 years, Centurion has been a pioneer in producing world championship boats to suit all facets of water sports. With a drag boat-racing national championship and a world record racing the first Gale Banks turbocharged exotic K-Jet in the 1,600-meter closed course circle class, owner Rick Lee, has always been a leader in the world of water sports. In 1972, he brought his innate knowledge of hydrodynamics and ability to design high-performance boat hulls to the recreational world by founding Centurion Boats.
Now, in 2007, Centurion's history and enduring enthusiasm for racing has steered the company into a partnership with NASCAR® and producing a special series of world championship towboats available to race fans nationwide. The NASCAR-licensed boats are built to represent the speed, thrill, intensity, competitiveness and passion that are all true to the sport of NASCAR, and promise performance to surpass the standards set by more than 75 million loyal NASCAR fans. Centurion is honored to be named the exclusive wakeboard towboat of Watkins Glen International and Daytona International Speedway. |
